During the end of his tenure as President, Obama was able to stall two major pipeline constructions: the Keystone XL and the Dakota Access.

As soon as President Trump stepped *into* the White House, he got to work resolving the issues with the pipelines. Within the first few days, he signed an executive order aimed at reviving both the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines.

The revival of these projects will create thousands of jobs for Americans, reduce reliance on foreign energy, and lower the energy costs for the nation.

There have been many opponents to the pipeline. Most notably from liberals concerned with how the pipelines could affect the environment.
